Saturday morning I wake up and make breakfast, then watch some of the old episodes of Arrested Development. At 5 or so Chad calls and wants to hang out so I go to his house and watch tv, then kidnap him back to my house where we watch tv 'til we fall asleep all snuggled up. We get up Sunday morning and go to Swabbie's on the river for lunch, then some other bars and have a really fun day.
Sunday evening I'm back playing pool and I kidnap some friends to stay at my house and we're up 'til 3 a.m. laughing and telling jokes.
Monday I actually sit around and do nothing besides walk the dog and water the lawns. I have come to the conclusion that I don't really know how to just lay around and relax.
This weekend I have a show in Oakland Thursday night, date with Sean Friday night, a wedding Saturday night at 6, and brunch with a friend Sunday at 10 a.m. I will spend the rest of Sunday cleaning and washing my car.
The weekend of the 7th Sean and I are going to Dillon's Beach. I'm pretty sure I will get to relax somewhere around the 14th. That is, if no one drops off money for pool.

ReplyDeleteI hate when I look into the future and see that I have no downtime coming up. That's pretty much my next several weekends, wah! But I did have downtime this past weekend, so I can't complain too much. And I have no problem just laying around and relaxing!

I will get most of this Friday to myself. I just have to grocery shop and wash the car. So that will be nice.
DeleteBut it does seem like you relaxed, you just have a different definition of it. Out of curiosity, what do you mean when you say you have a "show" in Oakland? Are you in a band? Did I miss the post where you became an interpretive dancer?
