It has been far too long since I have done one. So it's time.
I am grateful for:

jameson irish whiskey
having my life in order
pickleope making me think way too much about zombie rape
blogger ladies (we still need to dance CLR. i haven't forgotten)
people who bring me apple pie from apple hill for breakfast
cute boys to stare at in coffee shops
all of the trees in sacramento
eavesdropping when no one knows i speak spanish
my kitties
that the rain is coming
good hair days
running in the morning before the sun comes up
my strength
the new cute fella in my life who i get to stare at dreamily 'cause he's just plain dreamy
snuggling
having the money to eat the way i want to
life
my job (even though i curse it at times)
that i don't have to see an airport again for quite some time
my best friend and travel companion, christina, for making the NOLA trip so awesome
Happy picture of the day: I stole this from Girl To Mom's blog, so I don't have the source. But it made me laugh so hard. I love stuff like this.

I love your list! Definitely apple pie from Apple Hill, cute boys in coffee shops and Sacramento trees!! :)
ReplyDeleteI had apple pie for breakfast. And there is a really cute boy downstairs in Yellowbill. :)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love gratitude lists! I especially like your eavesdropping one, that made me giggle.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elsie,
ReplyDeleteI'm silly so I figured my gratitude lists should be as well. :)
ok, life seems really good in your camp. YAY! that is so fab.
ReplyDeletelife has been a bit of a roller coaster for me lately, but whaddya gonna do. ups and downs happen.
the HORES thingie made me smile. so thank you for that -- i needed it so much today. :)
I hit a rough patch and did this to remind myself the good in my life far outweighs the bad.
ReplyDeleteI'm here if you ever need to vent.
I keep reading it and giggling. I should print it up and put it on my fridge, then when people ask about it lie and say my nephew wrote it.
I love your list. I'm trying to comment on it thoughtfully, but I am still laughing from the Hores paper. Oh my gosh, can you imagine that teacher when she read that for the first time??? So hysterical :)
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, great list!
Thanks lady. It's a little too perfect. There's a huge part of me that thinks it's fake. But who knows? I hope it's real.
DeleteThanks. I need to do them more often.
The thought occurred to me, too, that it might not be real, but I want it to be, so I'm just gonna say it is! :)
DeleteI think they are good to do once a week or so. Sadly, I now only do them when I start to get blue about something to remind me that my life is good. You should definitely do one. They help.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am pretty happy.
Apple pie from Apple Hill for breakfast. What could be better? Seriously!
ReplyDeleteYour list made me laugh, cry and smile. It was just what I needed to read today!! I need to do this with my girls. Mind if I copy-cat?
ReplyDeleteOf course not. I didn't make up the gratitude list. Steal away!
