Have you all been over to wish Jax the best pregnancy ever? If not you better git! I have known since day one and have been a good secret keeper. She just announced it on her blog so I can let the cat out of the bag. She is going to be an awesome mommy. I am sending out a care package in the next few months full of awesome baby goodies.
One of my good friends just found out her mother has thyroid cancer, and that it has progressed to the point where her mom has opted to just go home and be kept comfortable until she passes. Please pray or send positive thoughts to her that she is able to have some peace in her last few months.
My boss's sister died yesterday. Positive thoughts that her family is able to get through this tough time with peace and grace would be appreciated.
The air is crisp around these parts right now. I really enjoy this time of year when I get to bust out the scarves and gloves, and curl up in huge coats.
I broke my no gifts rule and got Sean a really great scarf and a page boy cap. He is going to look so handsome in them. Of course, while shopping at Macy's I also ended up with a pair of flannel pajama pants and two pairs of jeans for moi. I also got my xmas exchange gift, a really pretty Mikasa vase. Someone is going to love it!
Tonight I have a date with Charles. We are going to go to Ethiopian food then get some xmas gifts for his kids. I am going to store his daughter's bike at my house until xmas. She is going to be so surprised!!
I am really glad I have an acupuncture appointment this Friday because my lower back has been hurting really bad this past week. It's the first time I've been in this much pain since I started acupuncture.
I could not make it through the first half hour of Children Couldn't Play With Dead Things. Sorry Lily. That guy's striped pants were giving me a headache, as was his acting. I like bad movies. I just have to remember sometimes you have to skip the first 45 minutes of them.
That's all I've got for now. I know, laziest post ever. I'm kind of in a funk and my back is killing so I am not in the mood to write at all. But I wanted to throw something out there this week at least. Hope you guys are all prepared for the coming holiday and that things are going well.
Happy picture of the day: I found this on my new wallpaper app and it is one of my new favorite things.
